How does your program work?
We set up an Introductory Session. This is where we meet with you one-on-one to learn about your goals, injuries, history, etc.
We schedule your first two private sessions consisting of a movement screen that will give us information on how we should write your program.
You sign up for sessions in our app as your schedule allows, ideally 2-3 times per week. The coach will take it from there. You show up and we’ll take care of the rest!
How often do the workouts change?
Beginning each month, we design two workout programs that are tailored to your specific needs. Throughout the month, we will focus on progressing in weights and/or reps. Then, to keep things fresh, we change it the following month.
How long do the training sessions last?
Each training session lasts 50 minutes, complete with movement prep, strength training and a short cardio burst at the end.
Do I need to come every day?
Not at all. Most of our clients come in 2-3 times/week and see amazing results!
What does a semi-private personal training session look like?
When you come in, there will be a coach waiting for you with a program written specifically for you. The coach will have a station set up for you with all of your weights prepared. The coach will then guide you through the workout and make sure you’re on the track to success! The only difference is that you will be training with up to 3 other individuals.
How do you differ from bootcamps or CrossFit?
We specialize in working with people that are new to strength training and have no idea what to do or where to start. We modify our program to meet you where you're at for safety and effectiveness with an emphasis on functional fitness for the long haul.
What if I have an injury?
Assuming that you have been seen by a medical professional and treated for the injury, we can definitely work with an injury! We have many years of experience in that.
Do I really have a coach with me at every single workout?
Yes, every one of your workouts will be guided by a coach. The coach will be there to explain any questions you might have, demonstrate proper form & technique, and offer corrections/modifications.
Is it a membership or how does billing work?
We offer several different membership options ranging from 2x per week, all the way up to 4x per week. Once we sit down and discuss your fitness goals and previous exercise experience, we will make a recommendation about which package is right for you!
Is this a regular gym?
Our gym is specifically for individuals who want to be guided through a personalized workout by a personal trainer. That being said, we have the same equipment as any other gym.
Do you help with nutrition too?
Absolutely! After all, what’s physical fitness without proper nutrition? We focus on guiding people through sustainable lifestyle change, instead of promoting the next “miracle diet.”
