How does your program work?
We set up an Introductory Session. This is where we meet with you one-on-one to learn about your goals, injuries, history, etc.
We schedule your first two private sessions consisting of a movement screen that will give us information on how we should write your program.
You sign up for sessions in our app as your schedule allows, ideally 2-3 times per week. The coach will take it from there. You show up and we’ll take care of the rest!
How often do the workouts change?
Beginning each month, we design two workout programs that are tailored to your specific needs. Throughout the month, we will focus on progressing in weights and/or reps. Then, to keep things fresh, we change it the following month.
How long are the workouts?
50 minutes. In and out within the hour so you can get on to the rest of your day or home for dinner.
Do I need to come every day?
Absolutely not! Most of our clients come in 2-3 times/week and are seeing amazing results!
What does a semi-private personal training session look like?
When you come in, there will be a coach waiting for you with a program written specifically for you. The coach will have a station set up for you with all of your weights prepared. The coach will then guide you through the workout and make sure you’re on the track to success! The only difference is that you will be training with up to 3 other individuals.
How do you differ from bootcamps or CrossFit?
CrossFit certainly did a great job of introducing & popularizing weight lifting. While we might use similar equipment, we have a functional strength building approach. This means that all of the movements that we ask you to do are safe, effective, and applicable to everyday life.
What if I have an injury?
Absolutely no problem! We all have something to work around and improve upon. We take everyone's injuries into account when designing the individual programs. And don't worry, no injury is too bad!
Do I really have a coach with me at every single workout?
Yes, every one of your workouts will be guided by a coach. The coach will be there to explain any questions you might have, demonstrate proper form & technique, and offer corrections/modifications.
Is it a membership or how does billing work?
We offer several different membership options ranging from 2x per week, all the way up to 4x per week. Once we sit down and discuss your fitness goals and previous exercise experience, we will make a recommendation about which package is right for you!
Is this a regular gym?
Our gym is specifically for individuals who want to be guided through a personalized workout by a personal trainer. That being said, we have the same equipment as any other gym.
Do you help with nutrition too?
Absolutely! After all, what’s physical fitness without proper nutrition? We focus on guiding people through sustainable lifestyle change, instead of promoting the next “miracle diet.”
